Summary
Plant protein meat food is a type of food that is based on plant raw materials and is processed and seasoned. Its appearance, taste and nutritional properties are similar to animal meat, but it does not contain animal ingredients. These foods are designed to be consumed by vegetarians while also being an environmentally and animal welfare-friendly option. Plant protein meat products usually use plant protein as the main ingredient. Common raw materials include soybeans, wheat, peas, sweet potatoes, edible fungi, etc. These plant-based ingredients are processed, extracted and blended, and flavorings, colorings and other ingredients are added to create meat-like products. These products may include vegetarian meat slices, vegetarian meat cubes, vegetarian meat fillings, vegetarian meatballs, etc., which look, texture, taste and cook like real meat.
