Abstract
Summary
Rare earth butadiene rubber, also known as neodymium-based butadiene rubber, is a butadiene rubber polymerized by a catalytic system with rare earth metal neodymium as the main body. Using this rubber as raw material to manufacture tires can greatly improve the quality and performance of tires.
This product is suitable for various raw material formulas of radial tires and bias tires, and can be used together with natural rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber. Compared with the widely used nickel-based butadiene rubber, rare earth butadiene rubber can reduce tire hysteresis loss and internal heat, reduce rolling resistance, and improve tire wear resistance and wet skid resistance. It can improve the durability and high-speed performance of tires. Other uses include footwear, sporting goods (golf balls), conveyor belts, etc.
