Summary
Water-based hydroxypropylene dispersion is a base material for water-based coatings. It is composed of hydroxyl acrylic resin and water and has a self-emulsifying function. There are two types of aqueous hydroxypropyl dispersion: primary dispersion and secondary dispersion. Their differences mainly lie in the synthesis method, emulsifier, solvent, molecular weight, dryness and fullness. Water-based hydroxypropyl dispersion can be used with water-based isocyanate curing agents to produce water-based polyurethane coatings with excellent performance, which can be used in metal protection, wood coating, automotive electronics and other fields.
