It serves as a bifunctional epoxy resin reactive diluent, providing good flexibility and enhancing the elongation at break and impact strength of bisphenol A type resins.
Moreover, Polyethylene Glycol Diglycidyl Ether is used in the formulation of various epoxy resin casting compounds, solvent-free coatings, impregnating agents, dip coatings, and adhesives. It is widely applied in the fabrication of electronic devices such as large and medium-sized dry-type transformers, high-voltage switch components for transformers, micro-motors, capacitors, and is a primary component of automotive electrophoretic coatings. Additionally, it serves as a cellulose finishing agent, enhancing the flexibility, fastness, alkali resistance, and dyeing properties of cellulose, and can be used for the finishing of cotton, flax, and wool fabrics, improving the tensile strength of the fibers.
