Summary
FFP masks cover the mouth and nose and provide effective protection against respirable dust, fumes and droplets (aerosols). The protection function of respiratory masks is standardised across Europe in accordance with DIN EN 149 and is classified as FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 protection classes.
