Abstract
Summary
The Tennis Net includes the playing area and the barrier-free area. The competition area is a rectangle of 16 meters x 8 meters. The barrier-free areas outside the sidelines and end lines of the field shall be at least 5 meters wide and at most 6 meters, and the barrier-free space above the competition field shall be at least 12.5 meters high. The ground of the competition venue is a level sandy beach, which must be at least 40 cm deep and free of stones, shells and other debris that may cause injury to athletes. All boundary lines on the playing field shall be 5-8 cm wide. The boundary lines shall be clearly different in color from the beach, and shall be composed of straps of tensile-resistant material. The net for beach volleyball is set vertically above the center line of the field, with a height of 2.43 meters for men and 2.24 meters for women. The net is 8.50 meters long, 1 meter wide (±3 cm), and has a mesh diameter of 10 cm. On the net, there are two colored bands with a width of 5-8 cm (the same width as the sideline) and a length of 1 meter as the marking tape, which are respectively tied at both ends of the net and are perpendicular to the sideline. Sign poles are two flexible poles, 1.80 meters long and 10 mm in diameter, made of fiberglass or similar materials. The two sign bars are respectively arranged on the outer edge of the sign belt and on both sides of the ball net.
