Polyamide MXD6 is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer, manufactured from m-xylylene diamine (MXDA) and adipic acid. The compounds display a high strength in engineering plastics when reinforced by glass fiber or mineral fillers, thus being suitable for replacement of metal parts.
