The offshore cable protection system is usually composed of cast iron and polyurethane materials, and surrounds the outside of the submarine cable of the offshore wind farm to provide physical protection for the cable buried in the transition area between the seabed and the wind turbine foundation. Usually the length is 10-20 meters, the diameter is 400 mm, and the weight is 1500 kg. It is installed on the cable during the cable installation process and provides continuous cable protection for the entire operating life of the subsea cable.
