Summary
Recently, due to the successful application of end-to-end deep learning methods, the quality of translation services has been improved by neural machine translation technology. However, as the machine translation systems greatly depend on data quality and quantity, the performance of low-resource languages (languages with a small number of available parallel corpora) or even zero-resource languages does not output well compared to rich-resource languages. In order to alleviate the scarcity of corpus in low-resource languages and specific fields, a many-to-one translation mechanism is introduced and used in generating pseudo-parallel corpus (multilingual machine translation). As the machine translation training model continues to undergo iterative optimization, the translation quality improves further.
